We are so grateful for Deena from Extra Mile. When our daughter started with Deena, she had no confidence, would not want to read and was extremely behind. Deena helped our daughter reach her grade level and gain confidence in herself again. It was so helpful to continue our sessions throughout the summer because our daughter was not overwhelmed with the transition into first grade and better prepared. She looks forward to the sessions because Deena makes learning fun. Really, if your child needs extra support, go with Extra MIle you will not be sorry.

Extra Mile Tutoring has done an amazing job with my 1st grader. My son looks forward to and loves working with Mallory every week. He has improved tremendously since starting with Extra Mile. He began 1st grade behind and very overwhelmed, so we reached out to Extra Mile to get him caught up to a 1st grade level. He went from barely reading to currently working on level E books. Mallory has also been able to boost his confidence and put a smile on his face! Reading and homework time was such a struggle in our house and now we read and do sight works with NO tears.

Ms Mallory did the impossible with our son. When he started with her this past September, he barely read level A books (very first early reads). He did not understand simple math additions nor subtractions. She worked with him only two times a week and in less that three months, we could not believe the progress he made thanks to her. He can now read level H books. He expended his vocabulary, his comprehension. His math skills improved a lot as well. Our son respects her a lot and is always willing to do his best work for her. We were so lucky to find such a great tutor.
